Attendees of the workshop will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge on various aspects of falconry, including its historical roots, identifying different raptor species, understanding the anatomy and proper care of raptors used in falconry, training techniques for falconry birds, essential hunting equipment, and much more.
Throughout the duration of the workshop, experienced falconers and their hawks will be present to offer their expertise and insights.
Falconry involves engaging in hunting through a collaborative bond with a trained bird of prey.
The pursuit of this ancient art is regulated by stringent state and federal guidelines governing the ownership and utilization of raptors for hunting purposes.
WHAT IS A FIELD MEET?
A field meet is an organized outing where falconers come together to hunt their birds in the great outdoors. Mini-Meets are a day or two, and the Major-Meet is a three day event where we reserve a block of rooms at a hotel and stay the weekend.

General Meeting for the membership after lunch. Lunch served at noon.
